Couldn’t sleep so I rode my bike down to the beach for sunset and did a huge brain dump in this old journal.

It’s been my brain dumping journal since 2016- just for the big ones because I have 3-6 journals going at any given time- makes me feel organized, you know, for my atrocious ADHD… why write all of my thoughts down in the same place when I can have multiple years of life lessons, thoughts, highs & lows, etc scattered amongst an entire drawer of journals, plus the one in my car, one in my bedside table, and another in my computer bag? 🫠

I’ve been told soooo many times that our spaces inspire, bring out the best in you, are adult play spaces, make you wish you had something like it, encourage your inner creative, etc… It’s going to be a beautiful evening and I hope you let your imagination speak to you while you’re with us!!

Before I knew how to create this myself, I designed one and asked someone with more knowledge and experience to make it for me, with an emphasis on it looking a little like armor. I cried so hard when I lost it, but hoped the person who found it not only loved it as much as I did, but also needed the “armor” as much as I did at the time and it helped them conquer their own self-sabotaging fears.

Almost 2 decades later, I decided to recreate it. Well, y’all, I made it too small for my finger and hammering it will hurt the balls so I’ve decided to sell her. It was such a positive, emotional experience recreating her and I’m so glad I did it. It’s nice to be reminded of how far we’ve come- in big or small ways- it just feels good.
