Meet Valor Academy SRB’s incredibly talented Spanish Instructor, Valeria Wells! ✨🇪🇸

Valeria was born and raised in Italy and she holds two Master’s degrees—one in Political Science and one in L2 Teaching of Italian and Spanish as Foreign Languages. She has a deep passion for foreign languages and cultural exchange and enjoys using her God-given gifts to encourage and inspire others.

Valeria loves helping students develop a passion for learning while building confidence in their abilities 📚

Happily married, she enjoys spending her free time at the beach, boating, and making special memories with her family. She is grateful for the many blessings and precious moments God provides each day.

We are so excited to welcome Valeria to our team and thankful that she will lead the way in expanding our students’ knowledge of the Spanish language and culture 🎉🧡

Our Podcasting Club students got a behind-the-scenes tour of a professional podcast studio today and learned what goes into creating engaging content—from recording and production to storytelling and interviews.

We’re so excited to launch the Valor Podcast this fall and give students a platform to share their voices, ideas, and creativity! 🎧✨

Meet Valor Academy SRB’s exceptional Theater Troupe Directors, Tara & PJ Padgett! 🤩🎭 ✨

Their passionate love for God, combined with their incredible gifts and talents in the theater arts, make them uniquely equipped to invest in and inspire young performers! Our Troupe will provide students with meaningful opportunities to discover their gifts, grow in their abilities, and express their creativity through the performing arts! 🧡

The Padgett’s are the founders of Coastal Kids Theater Co, bringing over a decade of professional experience across Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, and film to the Florida Panhandle. Their mission is to provide exceptional theatre education and productions to students, challenging young artists to create honest, thought-provoking work. Drawing on the ways the stage has profoundly shaped their own lives, PJ and Tara are dedicated to offering that same transformative, confidence-building experience to the next generation. 🎭

✨ This upcoming school year, Coastal Kids and Valor Academy SRB are partnering to provide students with a dynamic theater education experience designed to grow students’ artistic skills, creativity, confidence, and stage presence. Students will have the opportunity to develop individual performance pieces, participate in an improv team, and travel to the Florida Theatre Conference (FTC) to compete with a one-act production ✨

We are incredibly excited about this partnership and confident that it will be a tremendous blessing to our students. Tara and PJ will play an integral role in expanding and enriching all that God has already begun to build at VASRB, and we are honored to welcome them to our team! 🧡

They donated snacks for the FFT Snack Drive and showed up with willing hearts, worked hard, and made a meaningful impact in our community—living out what it means to love and serve others well.

1st Podcasting Club meeting is in the books! 🎙️

These students have such creative ideas! So excited for their podcast to launch in Fall of 2026. Prior to launching, we are researching and discussing important aspects of a podcast. Today we discussed what makes a good podcast, brainstormed ideas, selected podcast roles and responsibilities, and students shared what style/ subjects they want our podcast to exhibit. We are so excited for the episodes they will create!
