Thank you for the early mornings, the late-night homework help, the pep talks, the life lessons, the sidelines cheering, and the unwavering support. Your love, guidance, and example help build confidence, character, and resilience in the children we are honored to serve.

At South Walton Academy, we know that some of life’s greatest teachers never stand at the front of a classroom. They lead through their actions, their sacrifices, and their commitment to family.

🚀 Space Camp Update for Today! 🌧️

☔️ Due to today’s forecast and the potential for storms throughout the day, we will be canceling our scheduled Water Day activities for the safety of all campers.

🛝Instead, we’ll be celebrating the final day of Interstellar/Space Week with an exciting Indoor Bounce House & Movie Day! Campers can look forward to inflatables, games, space-themed activities, and a movie as we wrap up a fantastic week of camp.

🧦Please send your child in comfortable clothing and socks for bounce house play.

Week 3 Summer Camp: June 15-June 19th

🎓✨ Congratulations to our newest RBT, our 2025 Valedictorian, Lexi-Kate! ✨🎓

We are thrilled to celebrate another incredible accomplishment by one of our own! Lexi-Kate has officially earned her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), a credential that allows her to provide direct behavioral support and intervention services to children and individuals with developmental and behavioral needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Lexi-Kate has been a part of the South Walton Academy family for since the inception, and we are especially proud that she continues to share her talents with our students. Over the past 10 years, she has volunteered countless hours, assisted with special events, supported our summer programs, and served as a positive role model for younger students.

Her dedication, compassion, leadership, and commitment to helping others embody everything we hope to inspire in our students. We are incredibly fortunate to have her on our team and cannot wait to see all the lives she will continue to impact.

From arts & crafts 🎨, water day 💦, and adventures on the trampoline and ninja course 🤸‍♀️, we packed a little bit of everything into our week!

While all the fun activities were a hit, the real highlight was watching new friendships form and seeing so many smiling faces. ❤️
