Do Your Part Training

Had the pleasure of teaching a 3-day RIT course for the City of South Fulton. Students learned RIT assignments, proactive RIT operations, packaging downed firefighters, drags, carries, RIT pack operations, SCBA troubleshooting, moving firefighters up stairs, and performed multiple RIT scenarios. is in the books. Another day of forcing doors, slingin’ ladders, stretching lines, and all the searches. 37 brothers and sisters hammered out essential fireground skills, for 8 hours.

Thanks to all the students, for their time and effort. All the instructors for their tireless dedication to making the fire service better. The pallet loaders, for the thankless dirty work. Thank you to Douglas County Fire/EMS Department for the use of their facility. And last but not least, thank you to Metro Atlanta Fire Fighter Conference for the logistical support and allowing us to participate.

Thank you to all the instructors for freely giving their time to make the fire service better, thank you to Douglas County Fire for their hospitality, thank you to the hard-chargers who knocked out rep after rep in the heat. And a final thank you to all the guys who kept the fire rolling for 8+ hours. Now get some rest and rehydrate, and do it all again tomorrow.

Awesome time, at an awesome conference. Some hard working instructors and some harder working students lead off the first day of HOT training for the North Florida Fire Expo. Thank you to everyone for the sweat equity. Thanks to South Walton Fire District for the gracious use of their facility. Thank you to North Florida Fire Expo for the opportunity to train. Thank you for all of the work dedicated to becoming a better all around firefighter. Thank you to all the support personnel and LFTI’s that made the facilities work. And last but not least, thank you to some of the best instructors in the nation who came together to help put it all together.
