We are on the road spreading the word about the dangers of illicit fentanyl! Just a few weeks ago, we visited Ohana Institute in Inlet Beach, Florida where Stefanie Roe, our founder, had the opportunity to speak with 100 students! It was a receptive group and we were able to equip them with vital knowledge about substance abuse, overdosing, and making informed choices.

Here’s to leading the way in prevention through education, one student at a time.

We are excited to see Oklahoma take the reigns on a fentanyl poisoning awareness program of their own titled, ‘Rain’s Law’.

Oklahoma’s KFOR news station is reporting that Representative Ronny Johns, R-Ada, and Senator Darrell Weaver, R-Moore, are currently trying to pass this bill which would add fentanyl awareness to curriculum for 6th-12th grade students and create a fentanyl poisoning awareness week in schools.

Rain, 19, died after taking what she believed was a generic Xanax that turned out to be laced with fentanyl. Rain’s mom, Karla Carlock, says, “If this law passes, then so many kids in Oklahoma are going to be taught about the dangers of fentanyl in honor of her.”

Rain’s Law has passed a hearing in the House and is now moving on to the Senate.

Welcome to the Tucker Project! We are a nonprofit dedicated to combating the fentanyl crisis through education and advocacy.

Our goal on this platform is to raise awareness on the dangers of illicit fentanyl, share about the impactful laws and legislation passing in our country to combat this issue, personal stories of those who have lost loved ones to fentanyl poisoning, and updates on our non-profit as we grow. We are honored to have you here with us as we combat the quickly-growing fentanyl epidemic that is affecting communities across the U.S.

We believe that together we can turn awareness into action and create a safer tomorrow for our children.
