Rooted in Filipino heritage, natural remedies, and the everyday rituals that bring you back to a place, a person, a memory. The identity follows that same feeling — hand-drawn botanicals, earthy-soft tones, woven textures, and all the pretty details.

There’s something so special about creating a brand that has so much history and heart to pull from. 🥹
For Ives & Bees, the story begins with Filipino heritage. With natural remedies, familiar scents, and the kind of everyday rituals that can bring you right back to a place, a person, or a memory.
I wanted the brand identity to carry a little bit of that feeling. So we leaned into details that felt warm and full of character with hand-drawn botanicals, earthy-soft tones, woven-inspired textures, and little touches that feel collected rather than overly “polished”.
The visual identity feels deeply connected to the story behind Ives & Bees, while leaving plenty of room for where it’s going. 🌿🐝

Welcome to episode one of my new series, Studio Diaries 💌✨ a little peek into life lately as a creative business owner, designer, and girl just trying to find a little more balance in her weekdays.
Since moving to a new city, I’ve been craving slower weekdays where I’m not just sitting behind my computer all day. So lately, I’ve been making more room for the little things — working from my home studio, getting outside, exploring my community, romanticizing an afternoon coffee run, and giving myself permission to simply exist outside of work, and not just saving all the cutesy things for the weekends. 💐☕️
I love what I do soooo much, but I’m learning that building a creative business I love also means creating a life I actually have time to enjoy. In the words of my Aunt, you have to stop and smell the roses sometimes. 🥹
So, Studio Diaries is my little corner to share more of that — the work, the founder thoughts, life behind the scenes, a peak into what we’ve been working on, and all the pretty little moments in between.
Here’s to getting out of the office a little more. 🫶🏽

For Valshairdiary, we wanted the branding to feel just as personal and expressive as your natural hair journey would be. We pulled inspiration from handwritten journal entries, nostalgic scrapbooks, the movement of curls, and all those perfectly imperfect little details that make something feel like you.
