🚨 EMERGENCY FOR RIO 🚨Rio could lose his chance to walk forever.

Just days ago, Rio was walking. Today, he cannot use his back legs.

Specialists believe he has suffered a severe exercise induced spinal cord injury and needs emergency surgery immediately. The cost is estimated at $10,000, and every hour matters.

We are devastated. Rio is a young dog with so much life left to live. He deserves the chance to run, play, and enjoy the future that was finally supposed to be his after being rescued.

Meet Aspen! ❤️

Aspen is a 2.5 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing approximately 55 pounds who has been patiently waiting over two years for a family of his own.

Rescued from the streets of Tijuana, Aspen has overcome so much and blossomed into an affectionate, playful, and incredibly lovable companion. He has a joyful personality that makes everyone around him smile. Whether he’s racing around with the zoomies, chasing a ball, or proudly showing off his tricks, Aspen approaches life with enthusiasm and happiness.

This handsome boy is smart and well mannered. He knows commands including sit, down, place, and come. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks nicely on leash, and is fully vaccinated.

Aspen loves people and is wonderful with children of all ages. He also does well with other dogs when given a proper introduction. His foster family describes him as one of the sweetest dogs they have ever met. He is affectionate, goofy, loyal, and always eager to be part of the fun.

Like many dogs, Aspen enjoys toys, treats, and spending quality time with his people. His favorite things include plush toys, playing fetch, and soaking up love and attention from those he trusts.

After spending more than two years waiting for someone to choose him, Aspen is more than ready for a forever home. He deserves a family who will appreciate his big heart, playful spirit, and unwavering loyalty.

Rito is a 5 year-old, 65-pound neutered Belgian Malinois who was rescued from the South LA shelter. Since then, he has been thriving in training and foster care, but now is no he’s ready for his next chapter and is searching for a committed adopter.

This lovable goofball carries his food bowl around like it’s his emotional support item. He’s intelligent, eager to please, and has a big personality that shines with the right guidance. Rito is house-trained, dog-friendly with proper introductions, and highly responsive to structure.

As a true working breed, Rito needs someone experienced with high-drive dogs—preferably someone who understands the mental and physical demands of Belgian Malinois. He would thrive in a home that can keep up with his energy, challenge his mind, and maintain consistent boundaries. He’s not a protection dog, but he has the potential to excel in activities like agility, advanced obedience, or scent work.
