A huge congrats to the amazing Mrs. Hendrix on being named the 2023 Santa Barbara County Teacher of the Year. A tremendous honor for a tremendous teacher.

The 6th graders’ luggage has been dropped off and they will be back soon. Parents: fair warning, when they get back they are going to be dirty, exhausted, and will smell like 3 days of hard work in the heat. You may not want the contents of their bags.

A sneaky 4th grade class spent a bit of time this afternoon slipping positive notes into random backpacks for Random Acts of Kindness Day.

A huge thank you to all the community for showing up for our sock drive. Thanks to your generosity and support we donated over 1,000 pairs of socks to the Good Samaritan Homeless Shelter last week.

Since Mrs. Duft's class won the nightly challenge, they got to help the with the ice bucket challenge

When your class wins the nightly challenge, you get to mummify and then pie the coaches. Mr. Kozel's and Miss Tolentino's class did not disappoint.

Our Sock Drive is a week in and we're doing great! Over 449 pairs collected so far- almost halfway to our goal of 1000 pairs of socks to donate to those in need.
