Patrycja is a junior in high school and has played the clarinet for 8 years. Today she and her Dad and little sister showed up right when there was an opening in the shop- (meant to be!). Their goal was to find a new clarinet to play.
Patrycja has played for 8 years on a ‘closet clarinet’ and the B45 mouthpiece with Vandoren 3’s she started on.
What a big clear sound she had on a used R13 and an even bigger and richer one on a SeriO ClarO model- designed to be an affordable version of Buffet R13’s from the 70-80’s which were smaller in shape and sweeter. For Patrycja, 🔴 🟤 🟠 color-rings worked like a champ.
At the same time a new Vandoren M30 P88 took away the rough edges of the B45 and completely rounded her sound out.
In an hour, we had a brand new confident clarinetist who was proud of how she sounded.
Congratulations Patrycja! You said you wanted to play beyond high school and I sure think 💭 after today, and the private lessons you now want to start taking, you are well on your way to a lifetime of music making.
