It has come to our attention that false and negative rumours are being spread about us so we are writing to set the record straight. The Coffee Wheel closed on March 19th, 2020 as per the governor’s orders and we realized quite quickly that we would not be able to survive the pandemic. Despite not reopening, however, we paid rent through December 2020! We were not compensated for the many improvements we made to the space, including granite countertops, sinks and shelving, nor did TCW receive any rent support from the fund that was established to help locals in need. We are deeply saddened by the false representations made by La Tienda, as we did our best to be loyal renters and supporters of the Eldorado community. We wish nothing but the best for the new Coffee Corral.

It has been almost a year since we shut our doors for the last time (3/19/20) and while we miss our little shop and dear customers, it wasn't viable for us to remain open - even though we ended up having to pay rent for the remainder of 2020! We wish you all a better future and thank you for the three wonderful years we had.

Happy New Year! The (former) Coffee Wheel sends best wishes to all for a better year ahead. We sure miss seeing you and serving you! We are still able to sell textiles, jewelry, alternate milks, chai and coffee, so do reach out if interested: [email protected]. Also, donations are gratefully accepted via Paypal ([email protected]) as we have had to pay 8 months of rent with no income - not so easy!
