Had a lot of fun with my mama carving stamps and decorating outfits for a special dude's first birthday

Much belated post about this Valentine I made 💕💖💞

The gators are mostly a .knits design that I did a bad job of following the instructions on so I'd call it a loose interpretation, with accessories that I made up on the fly. Their circus diorama home is watercolor paper that's painted, cut and taped into a sort of box situation, yes it's wonky as heck. And lastly, the hanging heart is air dry clay and it spins with every move, for better or worse.

As I edit this post I see even more pet hairs stuck to the felt in spite of meticulous cleaning 🥲

I made a few ornaments that will be available next weekend at 's fundraiser, along with a bunch more ornaments from other artists! It's the same day as the parade, so double the reason to find yourself in Madrid.

The first two, a bow and a tree, are made from recycled CDs, and the last are ribbon wire icicles in sets of 3 - I made a bunch of these, a tree covered in them would be fun if someone wants to scoop the lot!

Having a great weekend at the Recycle Santa Fe Art Show! Here are some highlights of my setup. Last night was a fun fashion show, and I'm looking forward to being inspired by my fellow recycling artists today and tomorrow.

Made a little limited run of sunglasses in preparation for this weekend's show! They are adorned with bits of cut up CDs and circuit boards.

If anyone knows how to remove all the dust and lint from sunglasses lmk, I swear I cleaned them three times before shooting and yet...

Had a blast taking a silver metal clay class, and this little pitcher pendant is the result. The final image is it next to my Playdoh mock-up.
