Magic Matchbox Shrines Magic Matchbox Shrines are handmade, one-of-a-kind items created by Lala, owner of ooh-la-la designs, based in Santa Fe New Mexico.

Lala was born in Colorado but raised with her three sisters in Wyoming and Utah. The four sisters were artistically inclined from a very young age and over the years have worked in ceramics, metals, and various other forms of fine and folk art. Lala moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1989 and after a brief career in teaching and serving cocktails to cheapskates, she turned her artistic talent toward the creation of Magic Matchbox Shrines.
