Florence Miller Pierce (1918-2007), was known for thought provoking abstract, non-objective, monochromatic painting rooted in her dedication to Zen Buddhism and meditation. She was a member of the Transcendental Painting Group. Her work will be highlighted in an upcoming museum exhibition of the artists of the TPG opening at the Albuquerque Art Museum in June of 2021 and traveling for the next year and a half.
