Pattern Energy is proud to support the Village of Corona with an $80,000 contribution through the SunZia Community Giving Fund - along with an additional $10,000 from Western Spirit Wind - to help bring a new recreational community center to life.
The project will include a multi-use field, an ADA-accessible walking track, pickleball courts, and shared spaces designed to bring people together and expand access to outdoor recreation.
Local leaders have been working to make this vision a reality, and we’re honored to support the next phase as the project moves toward construction. Our team recently joined the community to celebrate this exciting milestone.
Investing in community spaces like this is about more than infrastructure. It’s about creating places where people can connect, stay active, and build community for years to come.
Across New Mexico’s wide-open landscapes, building 550 miles of transmission means doing more than getting the job done, it means doing it right.
From careful air-lifts in remote areas to working hand-in-hand with local communities, every mile reflects respect for the land and the people who call it home.

Pattern was proud to show up strong for New Mexico at the New Mexico House, one of our most important states and a true leader in the energy industry. From great conversations with state leaders to sharing how we’re helping power the future, it was an incredible opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate all things NM.
New Mexico is leading the way, and we’re proud to be part of what’s next.
This week, we celebrate across New Mexico!

Meet Crystal Forni, a familiar face in New Mexico communities and now Pattern Energy’s Community Engagement Coordinator for New Mexico. After supporting SunZia as a Project Administrator during construction, Crystal stepped into her new role at the start of the year, focused on strengthening relationships and deepening Pattern’s connection to the communities where we work.
For Crystal, success is about more than projects. It is about people, partnerships, and leaving a positive footprint across New Mexico.

This year, we launched our People of Pattern blog series to highlight the individuals who power the SunZia and Western Spirit projects—not just with their expertise, but with their roots, families, and community spirit. These are the people who live in, work in, and care deeply about the same places where we operate.
Meet Renee Rose, Senior Site Logistics Coordinator at Western Spirit Wind. Renee keeps the site running smoothly while staying deeply connected to the community, from supporting local youth programs to cheering on her own kids at county fairs. For Renee, work, family, and community all live on the same map—and that’s exactly where she loves to be.
Stay tuned for more stories of the people behind the project coming soon!

Happy Thanksgiving! In the spirit of giving back, Pattern Energy proudly donated $70,000 to 12 food banks across New Mexico and Arizona, supporting local organizations that provide not just food, but dignity, security, and hope for families in rural and small-town communities.
From volunteer-run pantries to regional food hubs, these organizations reach thousands of residents — including families in remote areas who might otherwise go without help.
“Every basket we distribute represents relief and hope for someone in our community,” shared Laura Peoghe of Matthew 25 Food Pantry in Sierra County, NM.
This effort reflects Pattern’s belief that community investment goes beyond building projects — it’s about strengthening the places we call home.
🤝 Want to help too? You can support these local food banks by donating or volunteering in your community.
