We all consider ourselves “Family” at the Dolphin, so it is with extreme heavy hearts and devastation that we tearfully report that on 04/06/22 we lost our Main Mama Rosalba “Rosy” Gonzalez to a tragic accident. Rosy has been a dedicated, loyal and loving employee at the Dolphin and fixture on the Santa Cruz Wharf for over 20 years. We have lost more than a co-worker, she is our friend, our sassy 2nd Mom, without a doubt our FAMILY! Not only will she be immensely missed daily by all of us, but there are also Hundreds if not Thousands of regular Dolphin Customers, who know her by name, that will be heartbroken to learn of this terrible news.

Please join us in making any donation you can to assist her family for any costs they have incurred or any future financial support we can offer her children, whom we all know she loved more than anything. The Dolphin will not be the same without you Rosy!! We all love you so and our hearts are aching!!! Please feel to share any fond memories or loving messages below.
