Recently designed and built this "tea house." The framing is mortise and tenon. The recessed panels are teak on the inside and copper on the outside. The roof too is copper.

Every once in a while I get to build something for myself, or, in this case, for my daughters.

A custom sideboard in Sapele, Cherry, and Zebrawood with ebony pegs.
Leg detail with a true thru tenon. The ebony peg in the leg covers a screw. The pegs in the door are are true pegs though somewhat overkill since the door utilizes a bridal joint.

I'm busy these days building the last third of my house, the master suite, office and laundry rm. The roof was "dried in" last Friday. The electrical was finished today and the trim started going up on the exterior.

Just finishing, literally, a built in buffet for a client: Sapele and Cherry.
In the design stages: The next project is another Walnut dining table, 8' x 42" wide. Also a 5' round Walnut table and a 5' x 5' square coffee table.
