Preliminary Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards ballots are here! If you’re a voting HARA member, humbly asking for your consideration in the “Hawaiian Single of the Year” category. “Ku’u Ipo Holo Lio”. A mele Hawai’i over 10 years in the making, produced by GRAMMY winning Producer Dave Tucciarone and written by myself and friend Keola Donaghy. Song celebrates that paniolo spirit in its message and reflected also in the old school “cha-lang-alang” feel of the music! 🏇🐴🤠🎶❤️⭐️ Über talented friends Kris Kanoho (One Groove) and Luke Easter (Tourniquet) also lent their creative skills on kī hō’alu guitar and the Hui Ohana tribute graphics!!

Also entered in the adjudicated “Haku Mele” Hawaiian somgwriting category, voted on by a special panel of ‘ōlelo Hawai’i judges.
