This holiday weekend I finally got the chance to film with Jack Rosenlof. Although it was only for the last hour of daylight, I am stoked on the result of our inaugural film. Here is "Cabrillo"

Well Davin Pena, the guy that was a huge help creatively and behind the camera on this project, cut together a short video of the clips he got and it really makes me want to get out and shoot some more.

Video: Mind Bending Senders in NorCal - Pinkbike Ray George and Simon Silver got together for an ambitious build project and worked with CL films to document the process of digging and riding an incredible spot in Santa Cruz.

The year 2014 was chalked full of new adventures as well as many familiar ones. I saw the completion of my best short film yet, my very first flurry, as well as the world through a new camera. This is the best representation of all that I did last year.

In mountain biking, adventure is a necessity. Some of the most amazing things seen or done, all happen on an adventure. In October of 2014, Simon, Thomas, and I all crammed into Simons' Toyota Pre-Runner with enough camping and camera equipment for a three day shoot. Our original intention was to make a bad-ass video that featured some amazing riding and scenery.
This was far from what actually happened. We were blind sided with the insane cold and lack of preparation for it. We had no idea where we were actually going to film and relied on driving along the highway in order to find spots.
From the beginning to the end, it was one insane adventure that taught us a lot.

The Aptos Post Office has been a legendary spot for the world of mountain biking for the past decade. It has been the training and proving grounds for some of the top professionals in this industry. In less then a month, this icon will be torn down. Tonight showed a mix of the last generation to ride this spot and a few local pro's who still call it home.
