Still our favorite string inverter solution. (SMA SB Sunny Boys!) This replaced the original Fronius, and the home now benefits from the receptacle we installed below (SPS: Secured Power Supply) which provides 2000watts of power if PG&E is down!

Solar Internat Conf, 2019, Salt Lake City. More and more battery/storage solutions: so appropriate for the most recent PG&E fire prevention shutoff! There are so many players now, and Tesla Pwr Wall, was nowhere to be found.
Pika by Generac, LG Chem, SMA Sunny Storage, Outback Skybox, Blue-Ion, Sonnen, and simpliphi batteries made the most sense to me. Some of these are easier to retrofit to an existing solar system than others.

A Message from the California Public Utilities Commission:

This month* your utility bill will include a credit identified as the “California Climate Credit.” Your household and millions of others throughout the state will receive this credit on your utility bills.
The California Climate Credit is part of California’s efforts to fight climate change. This credit is from a state program that requires power plants and other large industries that emit greenhouse gases to buy carbon pollution permits. The credit on your bill is your share of the payments from the State’s program.
The Climate Credit is one of many programs resulting from landmark legislation called the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. Together, these programs are cutting pollution, creating jobs, and investing in cleaner energy and transportation. Your Climate Credit is designed to help you join in these efforts.
For more information about the Climate Credit, visit www.cpuc.ca.gov/climatecredit. For more information about climate change science and programs to reduce carbon pollution, visit www.climatechange.ca.gov.

California Climate Credit The California Climate Credit is money from State programs to fight climate change. You'll receive the credit automatically on your electricity bill. For tips on how to use your Climate Credit to save energy, visit Energy Upgrade California.
