Being in the coffee business, we at Java Bob's tend to drink our share of our delicious brews. I have read about the health benefits of a cup or two of coffee a day but got to wondering how much was too much? The attached link to this article explains that question and I guess I am within those limits. Four cups a day seems to be okay! Keep drinking the java folks!

November is here and the holidays are fast approaching. As I write this, the sky is gray and the streets are glistening wet. The accompanying chill may tend to make you want an extra cup or two of your favorite coffee. Make sure you have plenty of of Java Bob's beans in your cupboard for yourself and your guests this season. Coffee also makes a wonderful gift! Come see us in the store Mon.-Fri. 9-3 or order online for shipping or pick up.

Autumn is here and the sun has moved to that 45 degree angle and sets earlier every day. Soon the chill of the coming winter will be upon us. If you are like me, you tend to drink an extra cup or two of coffee during this time for the warmth and comfort it brings. Make sure you don't get caught short on coffee supplies as the season progresses. Come see us at Java Bob's and stock up on the gourmet beans you love!
No one likes it when prices go up. It is, however, a situation that will inevitably happen. The current rise in raw coffee bean prices have necessitated an increase in Java Bob's coffee pricing. Prices have been steadily rising for months and we held back passing on the cost as long as we could. Sadly, we see rising costs in everything including groceries, gasoline, lumber, and eating out. Inflation is hitting us all hard once again. The good news is we still have the finest coffee you will find anywhere in town and still a bargain for the coffee connoisseur!

Summer is almost here and folks are craving more frosty drinks. I have been asked about "cold brew coffee" (as opposed to iced coffee made the traditional way.) Cold brew coffee is a process of letting course ground coffee steep in room temperature water for 12-14 hours and then served cold. I have been advised that African coffees tend to make the best cold brew. If you want to try something different, we have Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Kenya beans readily available. Whether you brew hot or cold, were here for all your coffee needs! Hope to see you soon.
This Memorial Day weekend kicks off what promises to be a more fun and productive year than the last. More restaurants and cafes are allowing inside seating and music venues are beginning to book again. Make sure you have an ample supply of coffee beans to kick off your summer activities! We are open 9-3 Monday-Friday for your all coffee needs.
