In the US? Cob enthusiast? We have two weeks until the critical Oct. 26 vote. CRI would like to increase the number of Officials that support the Cod Code Proposal. There are four Officials that we look for their supporting signature - https://tinyurl.com/y562vv5l - Fire, Building, Elected and Appointed. Do you think that you and your community can approach some of these Officials in your jurisdiction and get their name to be added to this supporters’ list? Please contact me if you are ready to make this effort. If we are not successful this time, our next opportunity to enter Cob Code into the IRC is three years away. I know that it can be difficult to get Officials' attention, but our cause if a strong one, fire proof, non-combustible, termite proof, environmentally sound, community centered and beautiful:). I have experience in getting this support and I can walk you through this painful but satisfying process:)

Cob Research Institute is running a campaign to get the votes of US Building Officials to support its Cob Code Proposal to the ICC Public Comment Hearings on October 26. We look for US residents, cob enthusiasts, to approach their Building Official and hypothesize building with cob in their community. The Building Official, as their Public Servant, needs to support this request. As needed, CRI will present its cob code to the Building Official in order to make this code available to this community. Time requirement aprox. 1.5 hours. If you are available, please PM.
