This past weekend, I shared a powerful moment with a circle of amazing women during a ceremony at Red River Gorge in Kentucky. As we hiked through the wild beauty of the land, I found myself singing the Lakota Butterfly Song—over and over—feeling it settle into my bones.

I wanted to really know this song, to carry it with intention and offer it in honor of Grandmother Butterfly.

We weren’t just walking through nature… we were walking with Spirit. The air was alive with presence. The land listened. And I felt the deep, quiet joy of being part of something much greater than myself.

Gratitude to the land, the ancestors, the winged ones, and the women who walked beside me.
