'Alchemy' is one of my favourites written back when I was only seventeen. It's about the struggles of individual band members within a band. In Ravi's story this song marks his shift towards introspection and isolation

'Hickey' was written as a dystopian love song. I like how it plays with motivation, romance and loyalty. The song was used for 'Wire', a theatre production about two terrorists in love. In Madman's Vinyl it signifies the reality shock Ravi gets when he notices a red mark on his lovers neck

Skipping Stones was my first love song written in school for a girl called Devina. Back then it was titled 'All You Need to Know'. To this day I still believe this song encapsulates the true feeling of being in love

Jet Lag was the first cover band I was a part of. This song is about those new beginnings and fresh passions. It also symbolises Ravi's excitement upon meeting the love of his life

Be Your Guide was originally written for my Guru. The verses are repeated three times like a Tibetan prayer. 'Silent times' was changed to 'silent crying' when recording the song. In the album Monody it signifies the final reincarnation event in the souls journey through the Void of Fright

Mahamaya was a song written for the Goddess of Illusion. It was also my first attempt at writing a song for women's empowerment
