With fierceness and its connotations of intensity, power and unwavering resolve.. softness on the other hand as our tender vulnerable compassion.

I stand here today wearing my scars loudly while I also allow myself to cry..I am a force to be reckoned with and also a gentle open hearted presence to the world.

Lightning in a Bottle was a whirlwind of energy and creativity. My dear friend, and our photographer, Manu suggested I use Sitara for our upcoming shoot. Sitara walked into the booth with such a warm, friendly presence instantly I loved her! She even offered me a mate & coconut water which as you know in the sweltering heat is an absolute life saver !

Sitara’s enthusiasm and warmth was infectious, so when she suggested her best friend, Kamaira, as another model for the photo shoot it was a hell yes from me! The way Sitara and Kiara effortlessly played off each other, their movements so fluid and natural, created a sense of genuine connection and intimacy that shone through every photo. I’m starting to finally be able to relax into all the lessons I’ve learned this past month, it was a tough start to have the engine of my van break right before my first festival of the year.. it took a lot for me to arrive to the Texas eclipse, and I only made it there with help of my friends and family. Sometimes I get so lost in the things that I feel are going wrong in my life that I forget about all the things that are going so beautifully right. I am now remembering to slow down enjoy the present and stop focusing so much on the future. When we trust, it’s all provided.
