Meet the blind Jack Russell who has his own guide dog Glenn, an elderly Jack Russell, is permanently blind and is guided by Staffordshire Bull Terrier Buzz. The inseparable pair were found abandoned together in a sea tunnel in Hartlepool, Durham.

Bixby and Mike from WheresBixby.com were at the State Street Mile event on Saturday raising awareness for dog adoption and hanging out. The last run of the event was a dog+owner run and it sounded like that race got the loudest cheers, it was definitely a lot of fun to watch. Mike adopted Bixby several years ago in Austin, TX and shortly after completely changed the direction of his life. He decided to start biking across the country with Bixby to have an adventure and raise awareness for dog adoption and has not stopped for the past 2 years!! He has some amazing stories and Bixby is one happy dog.

We meet great people and dogs with amazing stories often unexpectedly. Judith, owner of The Barking Bird, and Jack are no exception. Jack was adopted from Thailand 6 years ago through Ocean Dog Rescue and is now a healthy happy 11-year old.
