I was a turntable for a child, but then @bratmix put a DJ cartridge in me! I needed a portable turntable for a while now (beat digging, et cetera).
I don't like any of the current wave of portables, and turntables like the Vestax Handy Trax are a bit too pricey in the second hand market. I wanted something cool, iconic and vintage…but it wouldn't destroy the records. Enter the Fishure-Price. My little sleeper, "pro" turntable. :)
Another day off. Another day hurting myself, trying to organize the stuff in storage. Don't be fooled by the video. That rack had 20 boxes of 45s on it. The s**t was far too heavy to move, yet I managed. Honestly, loading and unloading all the boxes was murder on my back.

What do you know about "Pueblo Funky", the near-13 minute reworking of Funkytown, only released in Mexico. Definitely one of the weirder remixes I own.
Fricking holy grail time! Depeche Mode - "Behind The Wheel" (DJ B**g 15 Test Pressing)!!! Daniel Miller's mix of the song. This is the second one I've ever seen, and to be honest, it might actually be the one I first saw years ago (I don't know the lineage). Thanks to for the amazing find!

Nora and I took a drive up to Santa Barbara last weekend. Before we headed back to L.A., we hit up an antique mall. I found a huge stack of mint British promo novelty 45s. This is just a small sampling of the fun. I love the vintage factory sleeves!
I've been making Cricut shirts since 2022. They are finally starting to show their age (cracking). Cricut has been fun, but it's time for an upgrade!
I am happy to announce that I'm stepping up the hobby. I will now be screen printing my designs. Since I only have to make one screen to print numerous shirts (instead of manually weeding Cricut vinyl for EVERY shirt made), I will also be making small runs of select shirts available to buy (avoiding copyright issues where applicable). Stay tuned!
Where are my 80s/90s era Warner Brothers Records employees? Should I make a "pouch box" shirt next, and really confuse people? 😁
