This painting sold today in a gallery that I have wanted to be in since I was a student at Westmont. I have attended so many of their exhibitions both while I was in college and after. This was my third time having a painting in the 100 Grand show and I was not expecting it to sell because my previous two hadn’t. I was delighted and surprised to see that this painting had sold on the first day of the show opening!
This year I have taken an unexpected and much needed break from painting. I got married and started cooking for two. I got a full time job working for my church doing operations. I have been biking and lifting weights. It has been really nice to not have my passion be my source of income and my life has felt so much more balanced. All that to say, it is wonderful to have a painting sell in a gallery during one of the years when I have made the least art.

All of a sudden it’s almost June! I think I may have girl bossed a bit too hard😅 I somehow have 9 in person markets this month! Don’t get me wrong I am pumped for this! June might be my biggest month yet!🥳 I am going to be doing my best this month to give myself rest in between all these events and my normal work load.
