We kick it off tonight. Doors at 7 PM inside Rapid Skateshop. For the 805.

Rapid 2 is on hallowed ground, hardcore is a history and Casa De La Raza is a huge part of it. It means the world to have this spot be a part of our scene in both the past and present, and we all get to be a small part of that history.

This is important, this is ours, HC4HC

With a huge 🖕to forces out of our control, and those who refuse to mind their own business, Rapid Fest will now be held at a Casa De La Raza in Santa Barbara, historic staple of hardcore and punk.

Casa has been a home for Hardcore as long as the genre has been a thing and it means the world to us that they’d take on our event last second.

While a last second move is a bit inconvenient (and let us tell you, stressful!) people who hate fun have always done their best to ruin hardcore shows, and hardcore scenes have always found a way. Ventura County is no different. This fest is for Ventura County Hardcore, it exists because of Ventura County Hardcore, despite people who will never understand, and most importantly, it exists because of you.

Nothing is stopping this scene or this show from kicking ass. Pack all your friends into the car, drive down PCH and jump off the fu***ng stage.

One month away from a weekend of mayhem.

Rapid 2, this time at home base. A bunch of hardcore bands, a small open space, a homemade stage and nothing that even resembles a barricade. How it always has been and how it should stay. This is a Ventura County Fest and thanks to you our scene has gotten bigger and bigger. Which means we (you included!) are doing this s**t even bigger this year.

It’s going to be a lot of fun, and it’s going to sell out, tickets are as cheap as we can make ‘em cause we want to see you there.

Friday show is free with your ticket or $15 at the door, inside with a stage (ie. Limited capacity, first come first served, it’s gonna pack out)

Skate jam (more info tba) is free and will always be free. Bring your board, skates, beach chairs, whatever and skate with your friends all day like you did before the internet ruined it.

TWO WEEKS UNTIL OUR SECOND LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT, ON FEBRUARY 21ST TICKET PRICES WILL GO UP TO $40.

PHYSICAL TICKETS LAND AT THE SHOP THIS TUESDAY. THESE TIX WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR $35 FLAT TO AVOID FEES ONLINE. ON FEBRUARY 21ST THESE WILL ALSO GO UP TO $40.

This is the first lineup announcement. Second announcement will be mid February.

Tickets are currently $35 for Friday and Saturday. We are working on getting tickets printed to sell at the shop to avoid online fees. Sunday 805 Skate jam will be free for all.

After the second announcement, tickets prices will go up to $40.

This year we are moving to The Courtyard™️ at Rapid. Pls respect the spot and each other to make sure we can do this every year.
