Your credit score does not have to be perfect to buy a home. I'll say it LOUDER for those in the back. Although poor credit does bring challenges, perfect credit is not a requirement to buy a home. Work on strengthening your credit to get it healthy enough to qualify for better terms. Though it may seem overwhelming to add on more debt by committing to a mortgage, you have to remember your home will build equity which can eventually be used to pay off high interest debts, like student loans!
