Don't forget! In honor of Juneteenth, bring a red food to coffee hour on Sunday. The color red is symbolic of sacrifice and bloodshed. It is a color in the Black liberation flag, a powerful color in Black culture, Black spirituality, and Black food.

We will welcome Dr. Michelle Petty as our preacher and the Inner Light Gospel Choir at our 10am service. All our welcome, join us this Sunday, June 21 at services at 8am and 10am.

"Rise with Pride” L.A. Pride celebration on June 14.

“We’re walking together as a community remembering who we are, where we come from, and the God who created us, so we can walk with pride,” Bishop Elect Gallardo L. told the gathering.

With its parade route along Highland Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, the L.A. gathering was a highlight .

Thomas Diaz – chair of the Bishop’s Commission on LGBTQ+ Ministry and a lay leader at All Saints in Pasadena – said “we are not only highlighting who we are as Episcopalians, but also living into our baptismal covenant by striving to respect the dignity of every human being.”

In Santa Barbara, The Pacific Pride Festival returns for another powerful day of community, celebration, and collective movement. This year’s theme, “Out. Proud. Unstoppable.”, honors the strength of showing up fully, the joy of living authentically, and the momentum we create when we move together.

Wear something red this Sunday, May 24 to celebrate Pentecost!

The Day of Pentecost is one of the seven principal feasts of the church year in the Episcopal Church and is identified as one of the feasts that is “especially appropriate” for baptism. At the 8am service we will renew our baptismal vows and at the 10am service, we will celebrate Baptism.

Christians came to understand the meaning of Pentecost in terms of the gift of the Spirit. At both services, we will celebrate Pentecost in the model of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd's "The Gifts" presentation. During the service, you will be invited to reflect and light a candle representing a specific gift of the spirit: Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Delight, Awe, and Power. Catechist Vanessa Woods will be our preacher.
