✨ Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with and reflect on resilience, creativity, and some of the experiences that shaped who I am.
One of the questions that stuck with me was: “Where does your resilience come from?”
💫 Truthfully, part of it came from being told early on that I learned differently. From 1st through 8th grade I was placed in learning disability classes, and for a long time I wrestled with what that meant about me. But I was fortunate to have people in my life—my parents and teachers—who saw creativity and potential instead of limitation.
Over time, I learned something that’s stayed with me ever since: the things that make us different are often the very things that become our strengths.
Grateful for the opportunity to share a bit of my story.
