have been choosing to see positive signs in the world around me. this little bird visited during a lunch on a really whack day. sometimes the good is what you make of the bitter.

I'll be getting some corrective surgery on my ankle this week. My 30th festivities will have to wait until I'm healed and able to enjoy the tomfoolery.

Grateful to be able to take care of myself, and moreso for the support I have in my spouse, parents, and inner circles of friends 💟

grateful for a resilient body that has survived many traumas and injuries, grateful for the presence of mind to prioritize my physical health while I can, grateful for the ability to pay for healthcare even though it shouldn't be so expensive.

grateful to be alive more often than usual these days 💜

after all my bad days, coming home to you is relief (most of the time when ur not being annoying 😔)

August has been full of good food, which I appreciate now more than ever after surviving an extended liquid/soft diet after wisdom teeth being pulled and then infected 🤧 (I'm fine now).

Cheers to surviving the growing pains of the last 12-16 months. Proud of you for gracefully exiting a situation not meant for you. Grateful that you give me space to be less accommodating and more angry when I need to be. Glad that we both learned these specific lessons at 29 and not later so we can grow greater together.

It's been an incredibly hectic rollercoaster but I can't imagine weathering it all with anyone else.

I hope spending summer in the forest refreshes you for whatever good is on the way to us next ❣️

Thank you for the amazing night—the food was delicious, the ambiance is soooo thoughtfully curated, and the staff were such a sweet and delightful bunch. A new special occasion spot for sure 🥰
