Sarge is a stout calm guy. He loves to know what the humans are up to and is as in your pocket as they come. He will make the perfect husband, kid , babysitter horse. I personally have ridden him down the side of the road in traffic, on trails, and in the pasture. He has previously completed police horse desensitizing, and has toted around kiddos in the arena.

The only reason Sarge is available now is that his owner has a few young ones to focus on and Sarge deserves some time of his own!

When its 11:33pm and you're sitting on a tack box in the barn aisle watching someone who decided to get a tummy ache in the weird weather....

For not being a "c**t starter" I've been doing a few lately 🤭. Tally here got the big girl saddle today and some weight in the stirrups. Her teeth got done the other day so now we are going to move onto the ground driving stage with a bit!

Horses bred to run, or do anything quickly with athleticism sure do have opinions sometimes 😉. My Mare, Moon "LWC streakin nxcess", is definitely a testament. Her personality is big as Texas but she also tries to do what I ask and not leave me in the dirt.

She just does it with flair sometimes. Her facial expressions and sometimes hind leg kick outs usually give her away!

Following the same train of thought as my earlier post!

Ive caught myself being too tense, not necessarily out of nerves, just hyper focused maybe, and while a little bit of that can help a wobbly baby have a defined set of aids to bounce around off of, it can be too rigid for others that need you to be a little looser to allow them to flow and reach.

But in general , the little things add up when it comes to horses. Let go of that self doubt, bring positive energy, rela # # # when needed and pump it up just the same!

If you're thinking it, your body is giving away your thoughts, your horse can pick up those tiny cues!
