One of our Fall 2025 heifers, SSR Nighttime Beretta 426N, seems to have a favorite place to hang out…right INSIDE the middle of the hay ring! 😂

And let’s just say—she is not a dainty girl! How she manages to get herself in there…and, more importantly, back out again—is a bit of a mystery. 🤷‍♀️

That look as she glances up and back at the camera is absolutely priceless. Apparently, she sees nothing unusual about the situation!

Miss SSR Nighttime Beretta 426N is one of our own Ultrared heifers, sired by our Red Brangus bull Bobby Filet 844K, and out of one of our Red Angus mommas, Jeffries Ms Day E703.

Had to share this great photo captured today of the McAden brothers handling tasks at Silver Spur Ranch. What a dream for brothers to get to work and hang out together.

Happy Birthday Dawson Hawkins! 🎉 Hopefully spending your birthday on Silver Spur Ranch makes the day even more memorable.

Dawson joined the SSR team in late May and will be with us throughout the summer and fall while completing the required internship hours towards his M.S. in Ranch Management through the Dept of National Resources Management at Texas Tech University.

We couldn’t be more excited to have Dawson as part of the SSR family. His enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump into every task have already made him a valued member of our team.

Dawson, wishing you a fantastic birthday and a year filled with success, adventure, and plenty of great ranch experiences.
