Rob Diamond Films

Lucy Shimmers is now streaming on ANGEL Studios! This clip has 7 million views!! 🙏

17 years ago “Once upon a Summer” was released. I enjoyed directing, writing and producing this heartwarming drama. Time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking. Create before it’s too late. 🎬

“Mother and Me” is a beautifully crafted psychological thriller that was Written, Directed and shot by Carson McKinnon and Produced by Rob Diamond and Caylee Cowan. I’m so proud of Carson who has shot 4 or 5 of my feature films. This haunting film faces the harsh realities of abuse. Reminds me of a classic Alfred Hitchcock movie. We premiered in London at the prestigious FrightFest film festival to rave reviews and the American premiere is at FilmQuest in October which is one of the most highly regarded genre film festivals in the country. With thousands of submissions each year, only a handful of films make it into competition. “Mother and Me”has been nominated for numerous awards including best actress, Caylee Cowan, best supporting actress, Tara Janae, best supporting actor, Brady Noon and best cinematography, Carson McKinnon. We have locked in distribution with a major distributor and are looking at a worldwide release soon. This was a fun film to produce. We had an amazing cast and crew who worked hard to bring you this screen gem.

I saw this online. Some of the movies I’ve directed, written and produced over the years. Not all of them. There are quite a few that are not on here. I’m grateful for every single one of them and the opportunities I’ve had to create and for all the great people I’ve been able to work with, both cast and crew alike. I think the key is to be relentlessly focused and persistent. I don’t let anyone out work me and I don’t give in or give up. Go create people. You need it and the world needs your vision and your voice. I mean it. What magic awaits. Go discover what you’re made of. 🙏

🎬Movie Auditions follow up🎬. Thank you for all the amazing submissions for my new film. I have received hundreds of auditions from all over and will be watching every single one of them. I will be making final decisions in the next few weeks with the other producers. I’ve been getting lots of questions about the film project that I will address on this thread. This is a dramatic feature film that will be released worldwide on numerous streaming platforms next year. I’m not releasing the title just yet until it’s completely cast and I put it up in IMDb. It’s Non Union, paid, and is filming entirely in Utah for 18 days in October. If you are cast and live outside of Utah, the production will be providing travel, accommodations and per diem. Casting is always a difficult process. I have so many talented actors who have submitted. I can’t reach out and personally thank each one of you, but thank you. I love actors and admire your courage and commitment to this craft. I’ve been making movies for years and wish I had the capacity to cast you all. Keep at it! I’m rooting for you all. 🎬🙏

PAID MOVIE PRODUCTION. I’m gearing up to direct and produce another feature film in October. My 3rd film this year. Just starting to crew up and cast. Interested parties can email me at [email protected]. My movies get worldwide releases. Looking for wardrobe, grip and lighting, sound, production assistants, etc. Actors can email me a 1 minute dramatic monologue. This is a mainstream drama with comedic undertones. It’s a gem of a script. More details coming soon.
