Just a reminder to hold off on watering. The longer you wait and force those roots to go deep the better off you will be this summer when the heat is really here.

Due to the severe drought, we recommend watering 2 times per week in Northern Utah and 3 times a week in Southern Utah to help extend the water supply. The goal during ๐ฒ๐

Most people overwater simply because they don't know how much their landscape really needs. The watering guide below is a GENERAL seasonal guide that provides a "normal" year schedule. We will post weekly updates from the Utah Division of Water Resources that are specific to the weekly need for the current year, so there will be small deviations from this chart through the season. We rarely ask our followers to share our posts-- but this is information every Utah homeowner needs. Will you help get the word out?

Did you know that we will not need to begin regular, scheduled landscape watering until Mid to late May? If you want the healthiest lawn, make it work a little bit, developing long, deep roots that will help it remain resilient for the entire season. Plants, like people, don't grow as well when life is too easy. In the process of waiting, you'll save 30,000- 50,000 gallons of water on a typical quarter acre. Seriously. Not a typo. Ready to save even more? We're here to help.
