Everybody has an opinion about your singing voice. 😵💫
The problem is, hearing that something sounds off and knowing why it’s happening are two very different things.
Before you change what you’re doing because of someone else’s advice, ask yourself: Do they know why my voice is doing this? And do I?

This is what happens when I make singers pull an emotion AND an action out of a hat… then perform their song with whatever they get. 😂🎤
The point isn’t to make the “perfect” performance.
It’s to get out of your head, make a choice and actually DO something with the song instead of standing there thinking about every note you’re singing.
And yes… some combinations are definitely easier than others. 😂
This is why we practice performing, not just singing.

At some point, take 48 is NOT going to save your audition. 😂
Your voice is getting tired. You’re overthinking every note. And somehow take 3 is starting to sound better than all of them.
Record it. Make the adjustments that actually matter. Then SEND THE THING. 😂🎤
If you’ve saved 47 vocal exercises on your phone and you’re still stuck on the same note…maybe exercise #48 isn’t the answer. 😂
A good voice teacher isn’t just listening for what went wrong. We’re listening for why it happened.
That’s where vocal lessons can make a huge difference.
