With the reports that meals on wheels funding wants to be cut nation wide this is a great relief to people in Salt Lake County.

Friends who are worried about Salt Lake County’s Meals on Wheels Program, we want you to know that right now our program is safe. Proposed federal budget cuts do affect many Meals on Wheels programs throughout the country, but our funding, in part, comes from a different federal funding stream that is currently NOT slated for budget reductions. We will continue to provide this important service to Salt Lake County seniors.
