I’m Liesel, the owner & face behind Locks by Liesel! I am a mama to these 3 beautiful, crazy, kiddos! Tate, Olive, and Graham. Sometimes I’m a spaz and love to embarrass them (especially Tate- see 3rd photo) 😂 But I just like to think I’m a fun mom 🤪 They keep me busy and add a lot of chaos to my life, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. They are my motivation for everything that I do! ❤️

I have been doing hair for a little over 8.5 years, and lashes for about 5 years! I love doing them both, and love all the people I have gotten to meet because of this career! It feels like so much more than a job to me, and I love making people feel pretty and create a safe space for everyone who sits in my chair. 🫶🏻

In my free time I love to cook, travel, create in any way I can, go for long drives blasting music, and get my body moving in any way! I love finding ways I can continue my education in this industry, and always look for new ways I can improve as a person and in my career. 🙌🏻

If you notice in the before photo, she had quite a few natural lashes that were hooked & just wonky, due to a previous lash lift. Those lashes usually aren’t good candidates for extensions to adhere to (or stay straight) but she had enough that had gone through the cycle & some newly grown lashes that were strong, so that we could still do a set! She will be able to get fuller next time, once all of the naturals effected by the lift have shed and we can fill in those gaps. 🥰

When you’re just trying to show off some beautiful hair in natural lighting, but the wind has other ideas! 🤣 (swipe to see Mother Nature at work) Not gonna lie though, I kinda love it. What a fun way to show off the dimension in this beautiful, thick head of hair! 😍

I won’t lie to you.. I have a love/ hate relationship with vivid/ fantasy colors! Especially pastels. 🤪 they are a pain in my ass 99% of the time (especially when working with naturally dark hair) but they are also 100% worth it when it actually works out! 🙌🏻 and seriously so fun to do! 💜💙

The key to these colors is patience, and understanding it might not always go the way you want it to the first time, but having fun with it anyway! ☺️
