We are so proud of our provider, Linda!
Let’s talk about pressure… because if there’s anyone in this room who understands what it does to us, it’s dispatchers.
Our next speaker, Linda, is diving into what happens when our nervous system is pushed to its limits — when the calls stack, the tones drop, and our brains shift into survival mode.
She’s going to walk us through how stress impacts the way we think, communicate, and respond — from tunnel vision and shortened patience… to the way our words can become more reactive than intentional.
But more importantly — she’s here to show us there’s another way.
A way to move from reacting… to responding.
From narrow, high-stress communication… to clarity, awareness, and connection.
Because in this job, we don’t just need to be fast — we need to be effective, grounded, and human.
So get ready to lean in, reflect a little, and maybe even recognize yourself in some of this.

Happy New Year! This week and last, Dr. Partridge, Dr. England, and Linda had the opportunity to present on the importance of yearly mental wellness visits, understanding distress vs. eustress, and building healthy communication skills. These conversations are vital in supporting the long-term mental health and resilience of those who serve our community every day.
Thank you to the South Salt Lake City Police Department for your openness, engagement, and continued commitment to mental wellness. We’re grateful to partner with you in this important work.

Dr. Partridge rang in the New Year with a unique “fly-along” with the DPS Aero Bureau during their DUI enforcement blitz. Representative Lisa Shepherd was also aboard for the mission.
A sincere thank-you to Pilot Chelsea Tugaw and TFOs Wyatt Weber and Alan Jensen for allowing him to tag along and witness firsthand the incredible level of safety, coordination, and professionalism they bring to their work every day.
Thank you for everything you do to keep our communities safe.

Please join us in welcoming our new office manager, Emily Johnson-Perez! We’re thrilled to have her joining our team.
At the same time, we’re celebrating a big milestone for Sara, our current office manager, who has been working hard over the past two years to earn her master’s degree in counseling. We couldn’t be more proud of her as she transitions from office manager to clinician!
Here’s to new beginnings! 🎉🌟
Welcome, Emily — and congratulations, Sara!

Big thanks to the Utah Department of Corrections for hosting Mental Health Awareness Day! Our providers Ashley, Dr. England, Aaron, and Linda had great conversations with officers about wellness, support, and the role mental health care plays in overall health.
Grief touches us all, but no one should have to carry it alone. This powerful story shows how therapy can bring understanding, growth, and connection even through deep loss. We’re so proud of our provider, Drew, for the difference he’s making.

We’re on-site in Iron County this week, where Dr. England is riding along with the incredible team at the sheriff’s office. It’s an honor to support the mental health and resilience of the men and women who protect and serve.

We’re proud to highlight our incredible provider, Dr. England, who recently presented at the Post-Traumatic Growth Project conference. His presentation explored the biopsychosocial applications of the Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG) model - offering powerful insight into how trauma impacts not only individuals, but entire groups and communities.
Dr. England’s work continues to guide our understanding of how resilience, healing, and growth can emerge in the aftermath of adversity. We’re so grateful for his expertise and leadership in this space.
