Freehand tribal leg piece. My client started this tattoo with a ceremonial session from me where we set the intention for the tattoo to serve as a talisman, helping him move forward with confidence and clarity. During our second session, he shared with me that he feels the ceremony definitely worked! That made me so happy and reminded me of yet another reason why I love tattooing so much. I don’t post personal things often but I have been feeling so grateful for our beautiful planet lately. I have been spending the last few months with so many different animal friends, and interacting with them has changed how I see myself. I find myself increasingly aware and inspired to be a better steward. I understand now why people worshiped cows and horses, and why alpacas and llamas were considered sacred beings. I get why Indigenous cultures referred to animals as brothers and sisters. If you spend enough time with them, you will see that we are not much different. 💚

Second session on this back piece for my client Brittney. She drives three hours to get tattooed which I really appreciate. We did the heart last time and yesterday we added moths, stars, and flowers. Next time we will hopefully add more and maybe even some cobwebs.
