🎾 The Tennis Court facility will be closed today, Monday, June 8 through Monday, June 22. Our contractor will be installing electrical lines and other infrastructure for the tennis courts lights. The courts are scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, June 23.

Good day folks!! Welp Today is Day One of Summer Break Camp Kindness at Sandusky Rec @ Mills!! We will welcome the kiddos K-8th grade that have pre-registered for this amazing camp starting at 9:4am!! This will be the start of a safe, fun, educational, did I say FUN (LOL) Summer for our youth!! Let's Goooooooo!!!

Sandusky Parks & Recreation's Jackie “Momma” Collins Track Meets return next week to Strobel Field at Foundation Stadium.

Events include 40 yd. and 60 yd. dash for ages 2-5 and 60 yd. dash, 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter and 800 meter runs for ages 6-13.
Softball throw and long jump are offered to ages 2-13.
On the day of the meet, registration is from 5:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. and the track meets will start at 5:30 p.m. Camp is sponsored by the Blue Streak Booster Club and Sandusky Recreation.

Track meets will be held on Monday(s) and the following Tuesday will be held as the rain date.
Monday, June 15 (Rain Date: Tuesday, June 16)
Monday, June 22 (Rain Date: Tuesday, June 23)
Monday, June 29 (Rain Date: Tuesday, June 30)
Monday, July 6 (Rain Date: Tuesday, July 7)

Time: Pre-registration ONLY from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Meets start at 5:30 p.m.

Location: Strobel Field at Cedar Point Stadium

Fee: FREE

Ages: 2 to 13

Good day, this is a friendly reminder that the Summer Break Camp Kindness opens on Monday, June 8th starting at 10am here at Mills and at Foxborough Park. Snacks provided by OHgo and lunch provided by Sandusky City Schools and will be served at noon daily. Also please be mindful, per a previous email, if your child(ren) are absent 5 consecutive days during these next 8 weeks, and you have not communicated with me to as why, they will come off the Roster list so that the many waitlisted kiddos will be able to attend. I do realize summer comes with prescheduled events, family trips, other camps, etc. I just ask for communication to hold their spot. Thank you for understanding and let's all get ready to have a great summer!!

Also for the kiddos on the waitlist (CLOSED), Good day and Good news!! Your child(ren) that were on the waitlist, will be able to start Summer Break Camp Kindness on JUNE 15TH starting at 10am. This will be the ONLY friendly reminder for Summer Break Camp Kindness. Souls! However, our new buddy Dallas made it a lil easier to say so long to the kiddos! I think it’s safe to say the kiddos love when Dallas visits. Oh he brought red white and blue popsicles to match his Memorial Day outfit!

2026 All for Abs 5K Color Run The 2026 All for Abs 5K Color Run is on Saturday June 13, 2026. It includes the following events: 2026 All for Abs 5K Color Run and 2026 Kids Fun Run.
