Sandusky High School Programs For Success / Career Tech

Today was a HUGE day for SHS Programs for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. We are building a state-of-the-art computer lab to prepare students for in-demand careers in the IT industry!! Also, construction on our new welding lab is about to begin! We have an INCREDIBLE TEAM!

I believe the most incredible thing about SHS Programs for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is the connection between school and community. We must always remember it is a symbiotic relationship….our school is providing the future workforce and our community is providing jobs and opportunities for our students. Today the road between these two took another huge step forward as representatives from Aligned Data Centers flew in from Chicago and drove in from Buffalo to tour our school and talk to our students. We are all familiar with the space where GM once employed so many of our relatives. Aligned Data Center will occupy that space and the benefits to our community will be staggering. Thank you Joanna Soucy, Phil Lawson-Shanks, and Mark Gusakov for traveling to see our students today! We are excited to work with you!
