The lake gave us a break this morning from all the winds. Little cold to start but we'll worth it. Eric and Don showed up at a perfect time to watch what these boards can do on a hot bite. Boated well over 30 fish with the biggest maybe 24" if you pushed down hard enough on it. Awsome day on the water!!!

The lake was angry today! SW winds to 28kts made the bite tough. Had to run the kicker in reverse most of the time just to keep the speeds down below 3mph. The boards were working double duty, skippin n jumping those waves with no problems at all. Father/daughter, Rick and shelby also had no problems at all running in tight to shore to stay protected while putting wallys in the boat. Flicker 9's, potato bread, gold and dark purples. 20 back. 1.5 to 2.5mph. Ruff day but enjoyed every minute of it. Pulled 16

Lake erie walleye madness let's goooo!!!

Had an awsome crew out of PA today. We were going to jig but after rounding the corner at catawba we were meet with 4 footers. Plans changed within minutes! Decided to not take a beating and head east of the monument off southbass. The water color was just about perfect and the waves were way more favorable. First slide in a southerly direction yeiled 3 made a turn heading back north and zero. Turned and headed east and managed to pull 14. Bandits 20/30 2oz and plain 25back. Thanks goes out to the PA guys for hanging in during tough conditions.

Father and son james and james from Virginia drove in for a trip to tangle with some of these post spawn walleye. We had a mixed bag ranging anywhere from 20" to 27". The bite wasn't fast and furious but just a steady pic. The weather was awsome with sun and flat calm water until late when the wind decided to pick up out of the east. Lots of eyes landed with a 5 gallon bucket full of fillets.

Had a crew from wisconsin call at the last minute today for an evening run out on the big pond, and they weren't disappointed at all. They've been running the Detroit river doing the jig thing with varying results so they decided to hit the islands while they were at it and rather than launch their own boat they hitched a ride with us. These guys are experienced in running the boards (which made my day), setting lines, and everything in-between. We had an absolute awsome evening bite. With multiple fish between 24"-27". Best program was 20/30 and 20/20 2oz white based lures. Awsome times running with these guys.

Lake Erie's west end was cranking! winds 20-25kts SSW all morning with gusts up to 30kts. It was a brutal day but the Tennessee crew managed the trip well. It was hard to maintain speeds and avoid the other 200 boats within the area but we made do and they got to take home 10 nice size walleye back to the freezer. Jim , fisher, and Ed which is an 85 yo young buck that stood up to the test while cranking eyes all while doing the lake Erie rock-n-roll dance. I would say it was a beautiful day out there but, No! It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!

Another outstanding morning! Paul, Eli, Lita, and Katie from Indiana climbed aboard, and the Walleye beat down began!!
Those two young brother and sister were fighting over who got to crank in the next Off Shore Tackle Company board knowing it was falling back with yet another lake erie giant. Days like this are rare on lake erie. Flat calm water and sunshine along with a boatload of walleye! Awsome!!! Awsome!! Awsome!!!

Another awsome walleye roundup this afternoon! Anthony, danny, Erica, lacey and copper the service dog from West Virginia drove in to experience catching walleye on lake erie for the first time and they we're absolutely amazed at the quality and quantity they got to bring home. They were an awsome crew! Copper was having trouble setting the Off Shore Tackle Company boards so we had to step in and help her out.

Late post but here we go! Ran all day yesterday and boated a ton of walleye with not one fish over 8lbs. Size range was anywhere from 15.5" to 27.5". The people onboard were absolutely amazing! In the morning we had Rick, Ethan and Joel come in from indiana to tackle these toothy giants and left in amazement by the size and quality of fish we have. The Afternoon bite, Andy and kye stepped onboard to take a shot and I myself was impressed! This father son team were setting Off Shore Tackle Company boards like pro's! They we're doing all the work setting lines,boards,netting fish and cleaning . It was crazy!! But Awsome!!
