It might be hard to believe, but... frost and high mountain snow will be possible to end the week! Snow will be in the mountains of Glacier National Park. Frost will primarily be found in the higher elevation valleys. However, with lows dropping into the 30s Friday night, isolated frost will be possible in both the Missoula, Bitterroot, Mission and Flathead Valleys as well. Local Cabinet Ranger District employees and Grangeville Helitack crew members flew to the Star Peak Lookout yesterday and successfully wrapped the lookout in heat resistant material.
