Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway.
I’ll be honest—I was never much of a believer in magnetic therapy. I knew it could help with soreness, but I never realized just how much of an impact it could have on a horse’s recovery, comfort, and overall joint health until I saw it firsthand.
This blanket has truly been a game changer for my girl. Not only have I noticed a difference in her soreness and recovery, but you can tell she absolutely loves it too. There’s nothing better than seeing your horse feel good and move comfortably.
If you’ve been on the fence about getting a magnetic blanket, consider this your sign. I 1000% recommend it! The benefits I’ve seen in my mare’s recovery have been incredible, and it’s become an important part of keeping her feeling her best.
I’m so grateful for companies that genuinely care about our horses and put the time, effort, and research into creating products that are made to work and made to last. Investing in our horses’ health and comfort is always worth it, and this is one product I’m incredibly thankful to have in our barn.

Such great information to read!! MVP
Healthy digestion starts with a healthy barrier.
Your horse’s gut does more than digest feed, it plays a critical role in protecting the entire system. Inside the digestive tract, the intestinal lining acts as a selective filter, allowing nutrients to pass through while helping keep unwanted substances where they belong. This barrier is held together by tiny structures called tight junctions, which help maintain the integrity of the gut lining and support normal digestive function.
When functioning properly, the gut barrier supports efficient nutrient absorption, helps maintain microbial balance, and plays an important role in immune function. The microbiome is a key part of this process. A balanced population of beneficial microbes helps support the environment the gut lining relies on, influencing everything from digestion and nutrient utilization to overall wellness.
When those tight junctions become compromised, often described as a “leaky gut” state, the effects can extend beyond digestion alone. Daily stressors such as travel, training, diet changes, and competition can all influence the microbiome, and in turn, the strength of the gut barrier. That’s why microbiome support isn’t just about digestion, it’s about maintaining the integrity of a system your horse relies on every day.
Bio-Shield 50B™ was developed with that bigger picture in mind, delivering research-backed live microbials designed to help maintain microbial balance, digestive function, and immune health from the inside out.

I have seen such a huge difference in Lady’s recovery, and it has been amazing watching her feel more comfortable and continue getting stronger. As horse owners, we all want products that actually work, and I’m so grateful to have found one that has made such a positive impact on my mare.
I know I’ve been terrible about posting updates and keeping everyone in the loop, but I’m trying to do better! 😂 So here’s your Lady update, and I can’t wait to continue sharing her progress along the way. MVP

17 weeks already! 💛
Everyone says pregnancy flies by, and they definitely aren’t kidding. It’s honestly crazy how fast the time is going. I’m trying to do a better job of taking pictures throughout this pregnancy because I realized yesterday that I’ve been terrible about documenting it so far. 😂
One reason I’ve kept a lot of my pregnancy journey a little more private is because I know there are so many women who have struggled to get pregnant or are still waiting for their miracle. While I am incredibly grateful and thankful for this blessing, I’ve always wanted to be mindful of that.
I also just don’t feel the need to constantly post about how I’m feeling every day. Sometimes it feels a little like bragging, and that’s just not really my style. Don’t get me wrong, I am beyond thankful to be pregnant, but every day is still different. There are certain foods that, if I eat them, I’ll end up on the couch feeling sick for the rest of the day. Even at 17 weeks, I’ve learned that I need to eat by certain times or I’ll start feeling sick. Thankfully, I feel like I’ve finally gotten a pretty good handle on what works for me.
Compared to my first trimester, I am feeling so much better, and for that I’m incredibly thankful. I’ve also started working out because I was having trouble sleeping, and I’m hoping it helps prepare my body for labor and birth.
Feeling thankful, excited, and trying to soak up every moment because this little one will be here before we know it. 🤍

Forgot to give y’all another update on Lady 🐴💗
We are officially back to riding again! I rode her Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week, but I took today off because I was feeling pretty nauseous.
When I did ride, it was super light work—just a little trot and about 15 minutes of walking to keep things easy and consistent. We did have a little bit of swelling on her back leg, but I put Epsom salt and her Back on Track on her, and it’s completely gone now. No heat at all, which is such a blessing.
I’m so grateful for how she’s doing and the progress she’s making. For now, I’m going to pause lunging for a bit and just stick to light 15-minute walk/trot rides to help strengthen her stifle and her back end. I’ll also start adding in some backing up work and slowly build up to about 30 minutes of riding time.
I can also take her out on some trail rides, and there are some hills I can go up and down to help strengthen her back end as well, which I’m really excited about.
Other than that, she’s feeling so good—I can definitely tell she’s happy to be getting ridden again. She’s taking care of me and doing everything she’s asked of her. I know on Monday when I was walking her around, a big branch randomly fell from a tree and she spooked, which made her a little hot for a minute, but she settled back down quickly. It scared both of us because it just came out of nowhere, and it wasn’t a small branch either.
And I also know when it comes time for me to step back for a bit, she’s going to come back feeling really strong and ready when we start back up to racing again. I’ve been super consistent with her recovery work—ice boots, magnetic boots, and her magnetic blanket about four days a week since January—so I really feel like all of that is going to pay off in the long run.
My goal is to keep riding her until I’m about six months pregnant, and then when I get too big to safely ride, I’ll switch back to just lunging her again 🫶

Everyone has messaged asking my thoughts on today’s events… and honestly I don’t have many.
I’m heartbroken that people need to worry about their horses, because I know how scary that is. I have cameras. I have a mean ass dog. I talk to security at places and have had some bad threats, and being in the public, I expect that to some degree.
However, to think that some of those kids don’t think it’s worth it to continue on in this sport because of today’s issues, I got a few words for you…
Don’t let them win. Don’t let them steal your joy. Don’t let them take hold in your mind. Be vigilant… but don’t let them take more than they already have.
This was a sick person; because only a truly sick person would do such a thing. I don’t wish that girl ill… I wish her help, but I guarantee there were signs long before action.
How can we tell if someone is making a serious threat? If the messages are going to be more than just that? Etc? I don’t know the answer, but this is why my son is hardly ever on my socials. As public as my life is, so much is still very private.
I don’t have the answers, but I know I would be in prison today had that happened to me and honestly, that might be what scares me more….
