Lost one of the guinea keets last night, the one with splayed legs. The other three able-bodied keets accidentally trampled their flockmate. Too much traumatic injury to the wee one to save it. 😣😢

Peony roots available now! Found an unexpected bounty of them when I dug up my red "Early Scout" peony for transplant. Limited number and for a limited time as bare roots. PM me for more information.

Welcome back, Mother-of-Thyme! What a wonderful surprise!
Sometimes "not getting around to it" is a blessing: I had transplanted this herb a number of years ago in the Fall. I noticed the following Spring that it seemed dead. Never dug it up. Now she is alive and gorgeous! 😍

I wish I could share this thyme with you.
Soft and green, and fragrant, too.
Whenever I feel sad and blue,
I lay with her purple flowers in view.

The first strawberry of 2020. It was delicious. 🥰
