As summer rolls in, I just love drinking water.
Our delicious well water, flavored water, ice tea, you name it! But my favorite is my Green Lemonade.
It’s an energy boost, contains stress vitamins, antioxidants and supports gut health.
But here’s the thing. I don’t know about you, but the older I get the less I can tolerate even small amounts of alcoholic beverages.
Just last night I went out for a glass of wine with my bestie, and my joint pain was through the roof this morning! I slept horribly and woke up in pain.
So…I am at a stage where I need to replace my social drinks with healthier, tasty options, and Green lemonade does EXACTLY that.
Here’s the link if you’d like to download the recipe.

Happy summer drinking!

Most people think about packing snacks, chargers, and sunscreen before a long trip.
But very few people think about how travel affects their bodies.
Long hours sitting in the car, busy schedules, unfamiliar beds, and packed itineraries leave me feeling tired before vacation is even over.
Reflexology is one simple way I like to support my body while traveling.
It doesn't eliminate every travel stressor, but its a helpful tool for encouraging relaxation, supporting circulation, and helping your body unwind after a busy day.
If you're traveling this summer, swipe through for a few ways reflexology can support you along the way.
What's your biggest travel challenge: staying energized, sleeping well, or dealing with stress?

A few months ago, I hosted a workshop where I shared a deeper look into how my faith and reflexology naturally weave together.
While reflexology supports the body physically, I also love creating space to slow down, reflect, pray, and invite God into the healing process. It's something that has become a meaningful part of both my personal life and my practice.
One of my favorite ways to do that at home is by pairing prayer and journaling with a simple reflexology routine. Taking just a few minutes to care for your body while spending time with the Lord can be a great way to reset during a busy day.
I recently put together a free prayer guide that includes scripture, reflection questions, and journaling prompts to use alongside your reflexology practice.
Whether you're walking through a stressful season, needing a few moments of quiet, or just wanting to be more intentional in your wellness journey, I hope it encourages you.
Comment PRAYER and I'll send it your way.

Maycember has officially come to an end, and if you're anything like me, you're feeling it.
After weeks of school events, sports, celebrations, and all the things, our family is easing into summer with a little extra rest and recovery. Lately, I've been finding peace in simple things like walks without my phone, time in the garden, and moments of quiet.
It is amazing how much noise we carry every day. Sometimes what our nervous system needs most is not more information. It is less.
That is one of the things I love about reflexology. It creates space to unplug, embrace the silence, and release some of the stress we have been holding in our bodies.
If you need a few minutes of calm, I put together a quick one minute reflexology routine you can do at home.
And if you are ready for a deeper reset, I would love to see you in the studio this summer. My schedule fills quickly as I reduce my hours, so be sure to book your appointment soon.

s school starts winding down for the summer, I know a lot of moms are stepping into a season that feels both exciting and exhausting at the same time.
The routines change, the house gets louder, and the days somehow fill up even faster. In the middle of caring for everyone else, it can be easy to ignore the signs that your own body is asking for rest and support too.
Over the years, I’ve found that small, intentional moments can make a bigger difference than we realize.
A few minutes of reflexology in the evening, or simply slowing down long enough to reconnect with both the Lord and the needs of your body can help bring a sense of peace back into busy seasons.
Recently, I put together a free guide that combines simple at-home reflexology techniques with guided prayer, scripture, and journal prompts. It’s designed to help create small moments of rest and reflection that fit into busy everyday life.
If your body and heart have been asking for more rest lately too, you can download the free guide through the link in my bio.

Summer road trips are some of my favorite family memories.
They can also leave your body feeling a little less than refreshed.
Hours in the car, changes in routine, late nights, and lots of sitting can all add up. That's one reason I love having a few simple reflexology techniques in my back pocket when we travel.
A few minutes before we leave, at a rest stop, or before bed can help me slow down, reconnect with my body, and ease some of the tension that tends to build throughout the day.
In today's post, I'm sharing a few simple ways to incorporate reflexology into your next road trip.
Have any summer travel plans coming up?

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to sit down with clients, hear their stories, and answer all of their questions about reflexology.
A lot of people come into my studio curious but unsure what to expect, and I never want anyone to feel intimidated or like they need to “know” anything beforehand.
I love helping people understand how reflexology works, what different areas of the feet can correspond to, and how supporting the nervous system can impact the body as a whole.
Every patient who walks through the door is different, which is part of why I enjoy this work so much.
It’s never just about the session itself. It’s about creating a space where people feel cared for, listened to, and supported.
I’m always so thankful when clients take the time to share their experiences like this. 💛

This last school year has been a wild ride…and I mean “ride” literally!
My son went through driver’s ed last fall and for the last six months he has been learning to drive in my car with me instructing him.
Talk about STRESS! We both tend to be reactive, so they were not calming, enjoyable drives!
I am happy to say that over the course of six months and ALL 50 hours of driving practice, he has become a better and well-rounded driver.
But holy cow–what a new level of parenting! Now he has his license and a car, and I’m deeply missing our car conversations to and from school.
Parenting is a trip, isn’t it?!
These parenting transitions tend to cause stress, and stress can pitch a tent in your body and take up residence, affecting your physical body and emotional responses.
That’s where reflexology helps–it eases tension and stress, and clients often find they are able to release tension they have stored in their bodies for months.
I encourage you to try it out–It’s not woo-woo or weird; it’s a clinical approach to easing stored stress.

One thing I use all the time during reflexology sessions is lavender essential oil.
Most people think of lavender as just a calming scent, but I honestly consider it one of my little secret weapons during foot reflexology. It helps create an environment where the body can start slowing down instead of staying stuck in stress mode.
I especially love using it with clients who feel overstimulated, tense, emotionally drained, or like they haven’t truly rested in a long time. There’s something about pairing calming touch with lavender that helps people visibly soften during a session.
I use lavender in my own evening routine too. Sometimes I’ll add it to a warm foot soak, diffuse it while winding down at night, or apply it before bed when my nervous system feels especially overwhelmed.
Simple things can have a bigger impact on the body than we realize.

We live in a world where most people are constantly pushing through stress, exhaustion, tension, and overstimulation without ever really slowing down long enough for the body to recover.
That’s one of the reasons I love reflexology so much.
Reflexology is a powerful holistic therapy that targets specific pressure points on the feet and hands, stimulating healing responses in organs and systems throughout the body.
Reflexology is not just about relaxation, it’s about boosting circulation, reducing stress, unblocking nerve endings, and enhancing your overall well-being.
At Sandpoint Reflexology, we focus on helping you promote the body’s natural healing processes.
Whether you're looking for relief from tension, improved energy, or simply a moment of peace, reflexology offers a natural and effective solution.
