Growing up in Colorado has given me a lifelong love for the mountains and art. Here's a photo of me at six years old, painting in our backyard in 1970. I've always wanted to bring these two passions together, and reworking this old photo brought me so much happiness. Both continue to put a smile on my face!

Got a beautiful hike in before teaching a Sashiko and Visible Mending workshop in the big red barn at the Kaniksu Folk School.
