This group is for ALL alumni of California High School (San Ramon, CA). We hope to bring graduates from all the different classes together from this group.
Class of 1976 Memory 🧡🖤🤍
One of our classmates recently shared his perspective as “the new kid,” transferring to Cal High from out of state in September of 1975 — just in time for his senior year.
Coming in as an outsider, he remembers the Class of ’76 as a small, colorful group with plenty of different personalities, friendships and, of course, a few rivalries!
But when asked about his most memorable moment, one story definitely stood out…
The senior prank! 🚗🏊♂️
Somehow, a car ended up in the brand-new Cal High swimming pool! According to his recollection, the students responsible were never caught — although they apparently weren’t shy about telling people what they had done. 😂
Fifty years later, it’s stories like this that remind us just how much history, personality and unforgettable moments were packed into the Class of 1976.
With homecoming just 4 days away, the alumni crew is looking forward to seeing everyone in the end zone to share more memorable stories!
